know that our great friend, Brian passed away on the 19 January 2022
this
website of his work in the literary arts remains as a small legacy of
our friend, partner and dad.

Welcome
to Brian Whittingham's official Paisley and Renfrewshire Makar website.
Brian was inaugurated into the position of Tannahill Makar on 28th
of November 2018 at Paisley Town Hall presented by Provost Lorraine
Cameron and Councillor Andy Doig; with Paisley writers, Jack Hastie
and Dr Jim Ferguson.
