colours ....crude leather leggings ....aprons
....and soft leather mitts | |

when they weren't bevvied or smoking joints on top of the legs of the rig

they would artistically weld
pipes | |

| with
bevelled preps ............and tackle "overhead" ...........................with
a sureness of skill | | |
| | | |
| molten
showers of sparks ............ potholing leathered
protection as they twisted their rods to the most acute angles | | |
| | | |
| they
viewed green glowing arcs as low hydrogen fumes | | |

snaked
their way | .........o |
round

the
slag on the weld | ..p
